DSC_0024We recently donated $8,000 to Bulloch County Public Schools through the company’s popular Fueling the Community program. The check donation took place at a special ceremony during the annual Field Day celebration at Guyton Elementary School in Guyton, Ga. on May 6.  

 
Jeff Bush, Director of Fuel Management at Parker’s, presented the check to Guyton Elementary School principal Charlotte Connelly as well as Pre-K students and teachers, who accepted the check on behalf of the school system. This donation is part of more than $100,000 Parker’s has donated to local public and private schools throughout the 2015-2016 academic year. 
 
“We understand the value education brings to the community in Effingham County,” said Jeff Bush, Director of Fuel Management at Parker’s. “On behalf of everyone at Parker’s, we are delighted to present a check to support teachers throughout Effingham County Schools. We are grateful for their commitment to educating the next generation.”
