We donated $2,500 to Candler County Public Schools through the company’s popular Fueling the Community program, which donates a portion of the sale of every gallon of gas on the first Wednesday of each month to area schools. The check donation took place at a special ceremony at Metter Elementary School in Metter, Ga.
Jeff Bush, Director of Operations at Parker’s, presented the check to Metter Elementary Principal Lesa Brown as well as students and teachers, who accepted the check on behalf of the school system. This donation is part of more than $100,000 Parker’s donates to area public and private schools each year.
“Education has the power to transform lives in Candler County,” said Jeff Bush, Director of Operations at Parker’s. “On behalf of the entire team at Parker’s, we are thrilled to support teachers and students right here in Candler County. Thank you for everything you do to support student success and to make the future brighter.”
