Parker’s Community Fund
Founded in 2020, the Parker’s Community Fund was created by a generous donation from Greg Parker and Parker’s to give back to the communities that have supported Parker’s and its subsidiaries for the past 45 years. To achieve that goal, the Parker’s Community Fund has identified four areas of focus:
Requests for Funding
To qualify for consideration, funding requests/requesters should meet the following qualifications:
- The request must be on behalf of a church, governmental entity or non-profit organization classified by the IRS as a Section 501(c)(3) public charity.
- The request must clearly state a specific need with a clear method for measuring the efficacy of the initiative.
- The organization must provide financial statements and tax returns. Large organizations must submit audited financial statements.
- According to the IRS, the Parker’s Community Fund cannot make direct grants to individuals for any purpose, no matter how charitable such a direct grant would be.
Recognizing that all charitable initiatives are important, all requests will be reviewed and thoughtfully considered by the Community Investment Committee of the Parker’s Community Fund with the intent of initial funding beginning Fall 2021. We are currently establishing the processes by which requests will be evaluated. If you would like to submit data about your project in the interim, please download the request form and send all relevant documents to parkerscommunityfund@
